Recently I have watched The True Story of WrestleMania. This DVD tells about how the idea for Wrestlemania came about, how hard it was to get it started, and what would have happened if it would've failed.
As the DVD goes along, we find out that every year the show was going to be bigger and better than the year before. This is what happens when the brain child behind this event is Vince McMahon. Yes, he is the genius who brought this event to the people.
The first couple of years (85-87), it had to be watched on closed circuit TV. Why? because PPV wasn't around then. Made sense. Also made more money for they comapny.
Ever since 1985, WrestleMania, has become more extravagant every year and will continue to do so. I say this deserves an 8
